Biodiesel Kit

Biodiesel kits can make your vehicle run on an alternative to fossil fuel. Biodiesel is usually obtained from animal fats, and vegetable oil from restaurants. It can be used power any car with a modern diesel engine, and can be combined with petrodiesel as well. Downsides to biodiesel include processing the fuel yourself, and it can clog fuel filters due to their high gel points, which are much higher than their fossil fuel counterparts. To combat this you can install a fuel heater, or mix the biodiesel with petrodiesel to create the correct blend. Biodiesel kits are easy to install, and require very little modifications. To install, all you need is special fuel lines that will allow the oil to flow in greater quantity to the engine. Kits are being sold that allow you to process and create pure biodiesel. When taken from restaurants, you simply put the raw oil in to your kit, and wait. Adding methanol to the batch will make the impurities sink to the bottom, and leave the top pure biodiesel that’s ready for use. Once the kit is paid for, the average gallon of biodiesel will cost you .50 cents per gallon. Biodiesel KitThere are a lot of positives to biodiesel, such as gas mileage. Trucks are getting somewhere around 40 miles to the gallon with these fuels. On a 12 gallon tank, you can get as much as 480 miles. That alone helps ease some of the time consuming processing that goes along with using biodiesel. Along with good gas mileage, it’s environmentally safe, and your exhaust will smell like food oil, no poison.
