3 February 2009 - 2:26The 2010 Ford Mustang

2010 Ford Mustang
The 2010 Ford Mustang continues to surprise Mustang enthusiasts across the world. Among the features is an upgraded interior that looks amazing compared to previous versions. It will be available in two engine sizes, a 210 horse power 4 liter, or a 4.6 liter V8 engine with 315 horse power. The 2010 Mustang V8 model has an increased performance with an extra 15 horse power. The braking system will include the all new anti-skid system. This system works with the anti-lock brakes and applies braking power to individual wheels when they start to spin out.

Sporting a rear camera for backing up, one might wonder why a muscle car would need such luxurious items. The car comes with Ford’s Sync which detects collisions and dials 911, plays music, makes phone calls, and has a GPS with live traffic updates. All models come with a glass roof panel that can’t be opened.

All in all, the new 2010 Ford Mustang is an extremely nice vehicle. It has an extremely nice interior, good engine power, and a decent fuel rating. I can only imagine what the future holds for the Ford Mustang.

10 December 2008 - 3:582009 Ford Mustang GT

2009 Mustang GT
The Ford Mustang GT is not just your average car, it’s a powerful and fairly unique sports car. Many young drivers today own the standard model which is also less expensive than the GT model. However, the GT is a far better option for people looking for a fast sports car. Everything right down to the tires and engine are improved on Ford’s GT model. The 2009 GT has a 300 horsepower V8 engine, 18″ premium wheels, and an automatic or manual transmission. Unless your opponent is driving a motorcycle, this car will dominate most stock cars on the road.

27 March 2008 - 20:29Saleen to Release Heritage Mustang Body Kit

If you’ve had your eye on the Saleen Heritage body kit, you’re in luck because it’s being made public. The kit will come at a hefty price of $2,500, however, given Saleen’s past I’d say the price is justified. There will of course be different packages offered, that price is for the full kit. That’ll include all bumpers, side skirts, quarter panels, etc. This kit will work on 2005-2008 Mustangs only.

22 March 2008 - 16:23S197 Ford Mustang: Powered Glass Sun Roof

A glass sun roof isn’t something extremely new to the automobile industry. However, Ford is taking that a step further with their S197 Mustang. Their glass sun roof is now powered and can be opened or closed. It simply slides over the rear window when fully opened. You’d think such an invention would look awkward and not function that well. Apparently the Ford engineers have been working extra hard on this idea. Keep up the good work Saleen!

17 March 2008 - 3:40Working Behind the Scenes

For the last few days I’ve been working behind the scenes. I’m slowly getting a whole new design for the body kits section of the website. All mustang and all other car images will be hosted on a Wordpress back end. However, not much is changing overall. Seriously, the overall design of the site isn’t changing much, it’ll just be better on your eyes. The sorting of cars is also made easier with categories and tags.
With that said, I’ll have the new optimized version ready within the next couple of days. Until then, look at the Knight Rider Mustang which will be sold soon.

14 March 2008 - 1:432007 Ford Mustang Police Car Mod

2007 Ford Mustang Police Car

Jessie Vigil decided to undertake a minor project to spend time with his son. His goal; to create a replica Mustang police car out of a move. He’s used fake police lights on the car, and painted it black and white to give it the appearance of a real cop. Along with that it has “Police” written in golden letters.

The car is causing some controversy, however there is currently no law preventing him from doing this. That is of course as he doesn’t try and impersonate a police officer, a federal offense. Many people in the small town recognize and know who he is, but some people fear they might think it’s an actual police officer in case of an emergency.

Vigil has consulted with law enforcement officials over whether or not is legal, and they’ve decided it was. It was also noted that Ford Mustangs are typically not used as police cars, so they did not see him intend to impersonate a police officer.

All in all, I think this mod is quite cool. It would definitely get me to jam on my brakes if I saw him driving down the highway!

Skip Barber Racing School

With a number of high quality high performance cars, it always takes innovative marketing to draw in new customers. Saleen is doing that on their supercharged line of Ford Mustangs and F150s. With the previously tested marketing scheme, Saleen hopes offering a trip to Skip Barber will woe in new customers.

Skip Barber is a legendary high performance driving school, perfect for someone who’s just bought a high end Saleen Mustang. Skip barber has been offering racing school for over 30 years and has over a half dozen different courses, dedicated to teaching you to get the most out of your car.

The driver will be accompanied by a professional on the track, teaching them the basics of their car. There will also be a mock lead follow race held between driver and instructor. That definitely seems like a great incentive to buy a Saleen!

12 March 2008 - 2:11Fastest speed record - Ford Mustang?

Fastest Ford GT 1000 Horsepower
Technically not the fastest, but fastest for a stock car (classified as stock bottom) that’s in production. Robert Self will be attempting this recording breaking event in April of this year, and hopes to achieve speeds of up to 200 miles per hour. Including safety devices the car has cost him amazing $171,000 so far. For that price tag it boasts a 1,000 horsepower engine. The track they’re using is only one mile long, so safety is of great concern, however, they have calculated he will have enough time to brake.

9 March 2008 - 22:59Eleanor - The Gone In 60 Seconds Ford Mustang

1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor

If you’ve ever wondered if buying the rights to a car is possible, it is. Classic creations has done just that, buying the rights to Eleanor, the original Ford Mustang used in Gone in 60 Seconds.

Customers will be given two build options; either use classical Mustang parts and build it from the ground up, or use brand new parts. Either way you obviously and definitely will not be getting all original parts. Some parts were modified with newer technology to accommodate for greater performance.

You have two amazing choices when ordering this beautiful car. First is the small 535 horsepower 0-60 in under 5 second car, the other is an amazing 770 horsepower. Obviously there’s a bit of a price difference. The lower model runs at around $140,000 and powerful one at $190,000.

You can never own the original Eleanor, but this is definitely the closest chance you’ll ever get. If you got the cash to blow, 770 horsepower doesn’t seem like a terrible thing to spend it on.
