2008 Saleen Sterling Mustang
This is one of the most beautiful looking Mustangs I’ve seen. However, with a $100,000 price tag you’d think it would be a nice looking car. You’ll be receiving a 620 horse power super charged engine, all leather seats, 5 spoke forged racing wheels, and an amazing Mustang body kit. However, like most Saleen Mustangs this one is limited edition. Only the privileged will be escorted in limousines to purchase their brand new luxury vehicle.

29 February 2008 - 14:25Who Owns The First Ford Mustang?

First 1964 Ford Mustang
Recently there has been quite a debate going on over who owns the first Mustang. A museum in Dearborn has long claimed to have the worlds first. The serial number on it is as expected 100001. However, the confusion starts because the build date is 0C5. The first official Mustang meant to be sold was produced on 0C9, or March 9th, not the 5th. This is why a handful of people believe this to be a preproduction car and not the actual first one sold.
So who has the real first one? Well Randy Paddock believes he does. His build date is the same day of release, and his serial number is 100212. There’s just one problem; the car costs $5million. Nobody knows for sure which car is the first for sure. However, both are old, in good condition, and worth a lot of money.

29 February 2008 - 13:26470,000 Ford Mustangs Recalled For Air Bags

2007 Ford Mustang
Ford isn’t known to have the best recall record. In fact, it was only in December when Ford recalled over 1.2 million cars. Now it appears there’s a new recall for over 470,000 Mustang owners in the United States. The issue is with the car’s air bag sensor. The software at the moment has the potential to injure a small passenger that isn’t wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

29 February 2008 - 5:45Saving Gas With Your Ford Mustang

2008 Ford Shelby Mustang
Muscle car enthusiasts have always recently been troubled with he climbing gas prices. When driving a Mustang, it’s always good to remember some helpful tips that can save you gas.
Idling
You may not think about idling as something that will suck up your gas. However, now especially in winter it’s important to never keep your car idling for long periods of times. Modern cars have carburetors that make it efficient to shut the vehicle on and off.
Overdrive
Most Mustangs have an overdrive button that can be toggled on or off. Using overdrive effects the idle speed of your engine - and also how much gas it uses.
Speeding/Acceleration
Accelerating fast when it’s not needed wastes gas. The same can be said about going fast when it’s not needed. The United States passed laws during gas shortages that mad the maximum speed limit 55 MPH. This was solely to cut down on gas, because the slower you go, the less gas you use.
Car maintenance
A regular tune up can save an abundance of gas. Changing air and oil filters can help significantly. Other things like oxygen censors can greatly improves how your car utilizes gas. Keeping the correct PSI in your tires will help if you’re going on a long distance trip. You should always read your tires to get the correct pressure.

2008 2008 Ford Mustang GT500KR

Knight Rider, staring the all popular GT500KR was released recently with a variety of reviews. I thought the car took over the movie. I think most car fans realize the awesome power of the 540 horse power engine. However, even the awesome body kit couldn’t make up for the rather poor acting.

In case you some how have not heard of the engine statistics on this beast, here they are as follows:

Supercharged V8
5.4 Liters
540 Horse power
6 Speed manual transmission

Remember, you’re going to have to wait to late 2008 for a release date.
