Saleen Mustang Review

Originally named Saleen Autosport, Saleen Inc. was founded by Steve Saleen in 1983. Saleen is an American company known for creating some of the highest performance Mustangs to hit the market. The vehicles Saleen makes are based off vehicles such as Mustangs, but are modified; sometimes beyond recognition. The vehicles are mass produced, but still only 8,000 Mustangs were modified since the beginning. Saleen’s cars are priced extremely high. At over $400,000 the Saleen S7 won four GT races in 2001. The newest Saleen Mustang is the 2006 S281 which has over 336 horse power, and will cost you around $40-50 thousand. Saleen is an OEM, which holds them to the same regulations as other car companies such as GM. Like the Shelby Mustang, the Saleen was used in famous movies such as Bruce Almighty, and 2 Fast 2 Furious. Along with movies, it was also featured in a popular video game - Midnight Club III.
